Lucas netted two penalties either side of the break to help Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-0 victory over Bordeaux this evening.
The game began on a sour note for the home side though as Gregory van der Wiel was shown a straight red card in the 27th minute for a lunging tackle on Cedric Carrasso.
Bordeaux were also reduced to 10 men a few minutes later when Andre Biyogo Poko received his marching orders for a clumsy tackle on Marco Verratti.
Veratti then won a penalty on the stroke of half time, which Lucas converted to put PSG ahead at the interval.
It was the same story just after the break, as Lucas netted his second from the spot after the Brazilian had won the penalty himself.
With the game already won, Ezequiel Lavezzi made it 3-0 with a delicate flick at the near post to close the gap on Ligue 1 leaders Marseille to four points.
