Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has labelled Zinedine Zidane a "great coach" as the Frenchman continues to be linked with the Parisiens post.
Pochettino is already being tipped to end his stint in the Parc des Princes hotseat at the end of the season, despite PSG holding a 13-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
PSG are supposedly desperate to appoint Zidane as their new manager should Manchester United-linked Pochettino depart, and the Argentine has insisted that he is not the one making such decisions.
Speaking to Cadena SER, Pochettino said: "I don't know, it's not up to me to decide. Zidane is a great coach, he already showed it at Real Madrid. He can train anywhere in the world. In addition to this, he's French. That is one more question for the sporting director or the president.
"We have to be concentrated and focused on what we have now and football will have whatever it wants with us later. We are responsible for doing our best and giving 100% for the club we work for. We are 200% focused on PSG and on giving this club the happiness they expect from us."
Zidane supposedly wants to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo at PSG if he takes over from Pochettino, who has won 46 of his 67 games in charge of Les Parisiens in all tournaments. body check tags ::
