Adrien Rabiot will reportedly sign a new long-term contract with Paris Saint-Germain following positive talks with the French club's new head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Rabiot, who scored five times and registered seven assists in 50 appearances for PSG last season, will see his current deal with the Ligue 1 champions expire next summer.
Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, and it had been thought that the Frenchman would move on in this summer's transfer window.
Tuchel recently said that he was hopeful that Rabiot would sign a new deal, however, and according to ESPN, the midfielder will soon pen a fresh contract with the French giants.
Rabiot has captained PSG in all three of their International Champions Cup matches this summer.
