Ander Herrera is reportedly holding out for wages of £200,000 a week to sign a new contract at Manchester United.
The Spanish midfielder will become a free agent in three months' time and is therefore an enticing option for a number of European clubs.
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have already opened talks with the 29-year-old, but The Mirror claims that he could yet be persuaded to remain at Old Trafford.
Herrera is said to be after a significant rise on his current £130,000-a-week salary, but the Red Devils have so far only gone as high as £170,000.
Newly-appointed Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted earlier this week that he is desperate for the fan favourite to commit to a new deal, having used him regularly over the last few months.
