Pele says that Lucas Moura should have been more patient before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in January.

Brazil legend Pele has told Lucas Moura that he should have played in his home country for longer before moving to Paris Saint-Germain.

The winger joined the French champions last January having agreed a transfer in the summer of 2012, and has endured a mixed run of form since completing the £34m switch from Sao Paulo.

"Lucas is an attacking player, very quick," Pele told Canal+ Football Club.

"He's not a technical player like Neymar, so I think he should have waited to gain more experience."

Lucas got on the scoresheet on Friday night as PSG thrashed Lorient 4-0 in Ligue 1.
