An advisor for Zinedine Zidane has rubbished reports linking the 49-year-old with the Paris Saint-Germain manager's job.
The former Real Madrid coach has been out of work since leaving the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the 2020-21 season.
However, a recent report stated that the Frenchman was set to take over at PSG, replacing Mauricio Pochettino who is set to be sacked from his post.
Despite rumours circulating linking Zidane with the PSG hot seat, one of his advisors has denied those reports.
Speaking to L'Equipe the advisor stated: "All of these rumours which are going around are unfounded. To this day, I am the only person who is authorised to represent and advise Zinedine Zidane. Neither Zinedine Zidane nor myself have been directly contacted by the owner of PSG.
"I also highly doubt that his majesty the Emir of Qatar, Cheikh Tamin Ben Hamad Al Thani, would go through social media or media in order to manager his business and take crucial decisions with regard to PSG's future. I'm not even sure if he's really interested in Zidane arriving."
Any decision on a managerial change is expected to involve Luis Campos, who has recently joined the French giants as sporting director. body check tags ::
