Second-half goals from Luuk de Jong and Adam Maher were enough for PSV Eindhoven to beat Vitesse this afternoon and continue their 100% start to the Eredivisie season.
After a scoreless first period, the hosts went in front soon after the break when De Jong pounced on a loose ball in the box and swept into the far corner.
Maher sealed the win in added time from outside of the area, after PSV quickly broke with Vitesse pushing men forward in search of an equaliser.
PSV, who earn revenge after being beaten 6-2 by Vitesse in this fixture last season, are now three points clear at the top, while Vitesse remain winless in 17th place on just one point.
