PSV Eindhoven conceded a late equaliser at home to SBV Excelsior as they missed the chance to go second in the Eredivisie.
The tight affair was devoid of chances in the opening half, with yellow cards for Eindhoven's Jurgen Locadia and SBV's Jeff Stans the most notable occurrences.
It took until the 62nd minute for champions PSV to break the deadlock, as Davy Propper swept home a Locadia cross.
Luuk de Jong was introduced moments later as he builds up to full fitness following an injury layoff.
Further yellows were produced by the referee for Excelsior pair Bas Kuipers and Nigel Hasselbaink as their side struggled for possession.
However, substitute Hasselbaink found a way through in injury time as his shot flew past PSV keeper Jeroen Zoet to level the scores and hand Excelsior a share of the points.
Philip Cocu's side move up to third in the table after the draw, ahead of their midweek Champions League clash against Wolfsburg.
