League leaders PSV Eindhoven made it six Eredivisie wins on the spin by beating Cambuur 2-1 this evening.
Goals from Dutch internationals Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay in either half continued PSV's best domestic form of the season.
Daniel de Ridder scored a stoppage-time consolation for Cambuur, which was not enough to prevent the visitors from going seven points clear of Ajax at the top.
Cambuur were unbeaten in three games prior to kickoff and started well, peppering the PSV goal in the early stages, but they were caught out on the counter-attack.
Jetro Willems burst down the left and crossed for Wijnaldum to convert and give Phillip Cocu's side a 39th-minute lead.
PSV had greater control of the game after the break and established a two-goal advantage when reported Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target Depay scored his 12th goal of the season.
Former Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic winger De Ridder set up a nervy final few minutes for PSV with his third goal of the campaign, but Cocu's men held on to open up a sizeable gap at the summit.
