Defender Joshua Brenet has put pen to paper on a new contract with PSV Eindhoven that will keep him at the Philips Stadion until 2017.
The 21-year-old, who is a Dutch Under-21 international, joined PSV in 2011 and made his debut as a substitute in a Europa League fixture against Napoli in Italy in 2012.
"I'm delighted to be committing my future to PSV. I really want to repay the club for having faith in me and silence critics," Brenet told the club's official website.
"I'm very happy that the club is showing such confidence in me. It's a big day for me."
Brenet established himself as a first-team regular last season, playing 18 games for Phillip Cocu's side as they claimed the Eredivisie title.
This season, Brenet has featured in 10 of PSV's 11 league games, helping his team to third place in the table.
