PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman has reportedly started transfer talks with Roma.
The Dutch international has long been linked with English champions Manchester United, but speculation regarding his future appeared to have ended when his current employers recently insisted that he is not for sale.
However, a bid of around £17m from Italian outfit Roma has since been accepted by PSV and the 23-year-old has begun discussions over a move to Serie A, according to Voetbal International.
Strootman joined PSV from Utrecht in the summer of 2011.
