Celtic coach Ronny Deila has expressed his delight after the club secured progression into the playoff round of Champions League qualification.
The Hoops held on to record a 1-0 aggregate victory with a goalless second-leg draw against Qarabag FK in a heat-drenched Azerbaijan, leading Deila to praise his players for their resilience in testing conditions.
"I'm very, very happy. It was an exciting game, right to the end there was so much nerves. I am proud of the team spirit that we had tonight," said the coach, according to the Daily Record.
"The midfield won balls all over the pitch and the defence was tight behind them.
"Defensively we were very, very good, and offensively we should have punished them more when we won the ball in so many good situations."
The draw for the playoff round's fixtures is due to take place on Friday.
