Queens Park Rangers midfielder Karl Henry has admitted that the team deserved their "huge" win over Leicester City on Saturday.
The R's saw off their fellow strugglers 3-2 at Loftus Road to move to within goal difference of safety in the Premier League table.
The two sides were level with around 15 minutes left to play before Charlie Austin found the net to give QPR just their third victory of the season.
"It's a huge result," Henry told the club's official website. "Coming into the game we needed a win. It's all well and good playing well and getting draws, or playing well and coming away with nothing, but it was all about the result and thankfully we got the win.
"I thought we put in a good performance and thoroughly deserved the win. There's much more pressure on these games than when we're playing Liverpool or Manchester City because you are expected to lose those, and anything you come away with is a bonus."
QPR continue their Premier League campaign on Tuesday evening when they face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
