Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has pinpointed December as the "decisive" period of the season as his team look to start winning in the Premier League.
Redknapp, whose side drew 1-1 at home to Aston Villa on Saturday, has said that the end of December is when it will become clear whether QPR are still in touch to stay in the league.
"I think December is decisive," Sky Sports News quotes Redknapp as saying. "You've got to see where you are then, haven't you?
"If you're in touch, we can get a couple of wins and keep ourselves in there, then great, have a go. If not, you've got to be careful. We've got to look at it and see where we are.
"Hopefully we are in touching distance and can get a couple of players in that can make the difference and get out of it that way."
QPR are seven points adrift of 17th at the bottom of the Premier League.
