Second-half goals from Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin were enough to send Queens Park Rangers to the top of the Championship after seeing off Blackpool.
QPR were nearly in front in the opening minutes when Matt Gilks produced a fine save to keep out Jermaine Jenas.
However, the visitors came under pressure in the first half and can thank Robert Green for keeping them level as he kept out efforts from Steven Davies and Craig Cathcart in quick succession.
QPR edged ahead just after the hour mark when Jenas played in Matt Phillips, who tucked the ball past Gilks.
Phillips turned provider 12 minutes later when he crossed for Charlie Austin, whose header found the top corner of the Blackpool net.
Austin went close to scoring his second in stoppage time, but his driven shot went high and wide.
In the end, Rangers held on to their advantage and, thanks to Burnley being held to a draw at Leicester City, move to the top of the Championship.
