Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin is reportedly prepared to run down his contract if the club do not sanction a transfer for him this summer.
The 26-year-old is believed to have been targeted by Newcastle United, Leicester City and West Ham United.
However, reports have claimed that clubs are being put off by QPR's £15m asking price.
According to The Shields Gazette, Austin, who scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, is prepared to stay at Loftus Road for another season and then leave for nothing on a free transfer.
QPR will compete in the Championship in the upcoming campaign after suffering relegation in May.
