Nottingham Forest forward Jamie Mackie is reportedly closing in on a return to former club Queens Park Rangers.
The 29-year-old has fallen out of favour at the City Ground and was loaned out to fellow Championship side Reading last season.
Mackie joined Forest from QPR in the summer of 2013 for a fee believed to be in the region of £1m.
It is thought that the Reds are looking to move some high-earning players on in a bid to reduce their wage bill.
According to Sky Sports News, Mackie has passed his medical at Loftus Road and will rejoin the Hoops on a free transfer.
The Scotland international netted 18 goals in 94 appearances for QPR during his first spell at the club.
