Newcastle United are no longer interested in signing Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, according to a report.
The Magpies are unwilling to meet QPR's asking price of £15m for the player, the Daily Star reports.
Austin was once Newcastle manager Steve McClaren's primary summer target, but the former Derby County boss is said to have turned his attention elsewhere.
Newcastle have been linked with Marseille's Florian Thauvin of late, with the French club reportedly demanding £12m for the winger.
