Queens Park Rangers are reportedly closing in on the permanent £4m signing of Samba Diakite.
The 23-year-old moved to Loftus Road on loan from Nancy in January and a clause in the deal states that The R's can make the move permanent.
Diakite, who was sent off after 33 minutes of his debut against Fulham, impressed during his nine-game spell in West London and talkSPORT have reported that Mark Hughes has now taken up the option of signing the Malian.
The midfielder made his international debut during the 2012 African Cup of Nations and has gone on to win five caps.
