Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey has strengthened his squad with the signing of striker Tyler Blackwood.
Blackwood has spent the past three years playing in America at the University of South Florida, but after coming through a successful trial period, the former Northampton player is keen to make an impact in the first team at the Championship outfit.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm a striker who likes to play on the shoulder of the last man, use my pace, and I'm a goalscorer.
"My personal target this season is to get league appearances. I know I'm good enough, but I have to prove to the manager and the rest of the team that I deserve to be involved."
Blackwood has been handed a one-year contract at Loftus Road.
