Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin reportedly wants his pay to be doubled if he is to sign a new deal at the club.
The 26-year-old was linked with a move away from Loftus Road following their relegation from the Premier League, but he will remain with the Hoops until January at least after the closure of the summer transfer window on Tuesday.
According to Get West London, Austin is currently paid £20,000 per week, but he is looking to join the club's top earners on £40,000 a week before agreeing a new contract.
The former Burnley frontman has one year remaining on his current deal and could walk away on a free transfer next summer.
Austin has netted four goals in five Championship appearances this season.
