Rangers have failed to make the group stages of the Europa League after losing 3-2 on aggregate to NK Maribor.
Ally McCoist's side drew 1-1 on the night with the Slovenians, but it was not enough to see them progress.
The away side took the lead on 55 minutes when Dalibor Volas finished from the edge of the box.
The Gers got themselves back into the tie when new signing Carlos Bocanegra fired home on 75 minutes, but Maribor held on to claim a place in Friday's draw.
