Rangers' Scottish Championship match against Hibernian is goalless at half time after an eventful first half at Ibrox.
The Glasgow side applied the early pressure and Barrie McKay failed to test Mark Oxley after a good passage of play in the 10th minute, and Martyn Waghorn headed over the bar from a corner two minutes later.
Gers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham nearly gifted Hibs a goal when he gave the ball away to Martin Boyle, but captain Lee Wallace came to the rescue with the goal gaping.
With 21 minutes played, Jason Cummings had a chance from six yards but he volleyed over the crossbar.
Jason Holt then struck straight at Oxley from long range, before Boyle missed the target at the other end.
Rangers came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 43rd minute, but Waghorn's shot was cleared off the line by David Gray.
There was still time for another chance before the break. This time it fell to Cummings, who forced Foderingham into a save with a shot from eight yards.
