Rangers and Inverness Caledonian Thistle go into half time on level terms in their Scottish League Cup clash at Ibrox.
The home side started brightly at Ibrox and after a dominant first 15 minutes, they should have opened the scoring when Kris Boyd was sent clear behind the Inverness defence, but after taking a touch his shot was easily saved.
Fraser Aird was proving to be a live wire in the Rangers midfield, and he almost provided an assist shortly before the half-hour mark but his cross was well defended by the visitors.
Inverness weren't seeing much of the ball but they were well stocked in defence, and that forced Bilel Mohsni to try to make inroads with a volley from 30 yards out but his effort was deflected wide for a corner.
Marley Watkins provided the first bit of ambition from an Inverness perspective, but after he had got into the penalty area, his attempt was easily gathered by Steve Simonsen.
