Rangers are currently leading Brechin City 2-0 in their Scottish League One fixture at Ibrox, thanks to goals from Dean Shiels and Jon Daly.

Rangers are currently leading Brechin City 2-0 in their Scottish League One fixture at Ibrox this afternoon.

The Glasgow club had the upper hand throughout the majority of the first half, and scored the first goal of the game after just 12 minutes when Dean Shiels curled an effort from the right-hand corner of the Brechin box into the top corner.

David Templeton and Nicky Law also had efforts on goal, before Jon Daly doubled the Gers' lead in the 24th minute, heading into the Brechin net from a free kick.

Bilel Mohsni was shown a yellow card midway through the first half, which means he will miss the upcoming game with a suspension as he has now received six bookings in the league this season.
