Scottish third division side Rangers have progressed through to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup courtesy of three unanswered goals against Elgin City.
Despite dominating the tie from the outset, it took hosting Rangers until the 43rd minute to break the deadlock. Dean Shiels was the scorer, poking the ball into the net from six yards out following a pass from Kevin Kyle.
The tie was put beyond the reach of visiting Elgin with 68 minutes on the clock when Kyle turned goalscorer by heading in a corner from Barrie McKay.
The victory was sealed one minute before the final whistle when 20-year-old Kal Naismith converted from inside the area.
Rangers will find out who they face in the last 16 when the draw is made tomorrow afternoon.
