Bordeaux have reportedly entered negotiations with Rangers over the permanent signing of Alfredo Morelos.
The 22-year-old signed from HJK Helsinki in the summer of 2017 for £1.5m and has scored twice in the Europa League qualifiers and once in the Scottish Premiership so far this campaign.
Morelos was also prolific last season, scoring 18 goals for Gers in all competitions, but his discipline on the pitch has often come under scrutiny following 13 bookings last term.
According to Sky Sports News, the Ligue 1 side have made a move to land Morelos in a £3.75m deal and, even though Rangers rejected the bid, both parties remain in talks.
Morelos is a former Colombia Under-20 international who began his career at Independiente Medellin before moving to Finland in 2016.
