Darren Cole has signed a new one-year contract with former Scottish champions Rangers.
The 21-year-old defender, who made his debut for the club in 2010, spent three months on the sidelines last season after undergoing ankle surgery.
His previous deal was due to expire at the end of this month, but the youngster has now committed his short-term future to the Scottish outfit.
Cole was part of the Rangers squad that gathered for pre-season on June 24.
