Rayo Vallecano winger Iago Falque is hopeful that his side can build on their 4-1 win over Malaga in the coming weeks.
Falque netted twice in the victory over Malaga, but the on-loan Tottenham Hotspur attacker has now switched his attention to the clash with Barcelona at the weekend.
"It'd been a long time since we'd won in Vallecas. During the week we appealed to the fans to support us and they responded, the fans on the outside and we responded on the pitch. We earned three crucial points to give us options until the end of the season," he told reporters.
"It's been shown that together, we can do this and we need to keep it going. This week we're going to a very difficult pitch (the Camp Nou) and after that we have to games at home (Sevilla and Valencia).
"We feel good and we need to try and get these points at home, although at the moment we're only thinking about Barcelona, which will be a nice and complicated match."
Rayo sit in 19th spot in the La Liga table, four points from safety.
