Rayo Vallecano forward Jonathan Viera has refused to play down the importance of this weekend's La Liga clash with Levante.
The Madrid side currently sit 19th in La Liga having won just five of their 21 league games this season, while they are five points from safety.
"We need to go against Levante with a knife between our teeth, because this game is crucial for us," he told AS.
"We know that we don't need to fool ourselves and we want to go in charged up and if we lose and our opponents win, that will push us even further down and that will make things very difficult."
Viera is currently on loan at Rayo from Valencia.
