Romelu Lukaku's eighth goal of the season has given West Bromwich Albion the lead against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
The Royals saw plenty of the ball in the opening stages, but struggled to create anything of note.
The first real action came when Chris Brunt forced a save from Adam Federici in the 18th minute.
However, the Baggies took the lead just two minutes later.
James Morrison found Romelu Lukaku inside the box, and the Belgian striker showed great strength in holding off Ian Harte before sweeping past Federici from six yard out.
The hosts continued to toil in the chance-creation department, despite dominating possession.
