Live text coverage of the Championship encounter between Reading and Derby County, courtesy of Sports Mole.

After a two-week international break, Championship sides Reading and Derby County did battle at the Madejski this afternoon.

Derby came into the match on an eight-game unbeaten run and stretched that to nine with a clinical 3-0 victory over the Royals, who are now five games without a win themselves.

Read how it all unfolded with Sports Mole's minute-by-minute updates below.

Time for us to say goodbye, but, as always, make sure you have a click around on site to find all the reports and reaction from another stunning Saturday. League football is back with a bang!
It's now five goals in his last four league games for Martin, who has eight for the season and is just behind Asssombalonga in the scoring charts.

A final word on today's game here. Derby were simply much more clinical than Reading, who had several chances to get back in the game but were denied more by their own wasteful finishing than good goalkeeping or defending by Derby.
I keep going on about all the amazing results, so why not check them all out on our live scores hub here.
Click here to see the latest table on a truly brilliant return to league football after the international break.
All over at the Madejski Stadium, with Derby winning yet another game to go second in the table. For Reading, their winless run stretches to five games.
FULL-TIME: READING 0-3 DERBY
So many incredible scorelines in both the Premier League and Championship today.
FOUR minutes of time added on by the fourth official. Unfortunately for Reading, that's nowhere near enough time for them.
A reminder for Derby fans that you are about to go second in the table.
BOOKING! Obita is booked after showing his frustration following what seemed to be a clear foul on Taylor right on the edge of the box. Hard to tell if it was a penalty or a free kick, but neither was given.
Martin now has eight for the season and is just one behind Assombalonga at the top of the scoring charts.
Game over. After a spell of heavy pressure from Reading, Derby kill it off with a slick goal on the counter. Russell flicked the ball into the path of Martin and the in-form striker coolly waited and waited before clipping over Federici into the net.
GOAL! READING 0-3 DERBY (MARTIN)
SAVE! How have Reading not scored in the last five minutes. From the resulting corner, Grant somehow makes a ridiculous point-blank save like that famous Peter Schmeichel one back in the day.
Close again from the home side, who have finally started to threaten. Murray's shot is deflected and dips just past the post.
WHAT A MISS! We have our Championship miss of the season on October 18! Blackman again is the dangerman, shooting low and forcing Grant into a save low to his left. The ball pops into the path of Pogrebnyak, who just has to slot it home but he can only find the side-netting. Incredible miss.
SHOT! Blackman with a rocket from about 30 yards that is dipping dangerously but just flies over.
So all change in attack for Reading, but they are running out of time to get anything out of this game.
READING SUBS: A triple change from Adkins as Norwood, Mackie and Robson-Kanu are replaced by Kuhl, Blackman and Pogrebnyak.
BOOKING! Eustace becomes the third Derby player to be booked for a rash lunge on Taylor.
So it's Derby that are still two goals in front and Reading have looked short on ideas today. Here's a great snap of Ibe just before he fired the Rams two up:

BOOKING! Derby right-back Christie picks up a needless yellow for time-wasting.
Pearce peels away to the back post and has plenty of time to work out what to do, but makes a poor decision by looping up a header that's easy for Grant to claim.
Odd moment there as the referee initially didn't blow up for a foul on Derby keeper Grant, but then did decide to give a free kick with Murray trying to poke home the loose ball.
Today's attendance at the Madejski is 18,141, with about 10% (1,888) travelling from Derby.
Remember, Derby have already been forced into two changes, so McClaren is likely to save that last change in case of another injury. Adkins is yet to make a sub but will surely think about doing so soon. Something has to change.
Obita whips over a free kick from near the halfway line and it's a brilliant delivery that somehow doesn't get a touch and bounces through to Grant.
Sloppy from Ibe on the edge of his own box, but he just about gets away with it as Whitbread steps in to help him out.
MISS! Chrissy Martin, what are you playing at! Moments after being denied twice by Federici, the Derby striker somehow sidefoots over from a loose ball in the area.
DOUBLE-SAVE! Oh Derby should be three up! Martin has space to shoot on the right of the area and his first effort is kept out by Federici before the rebound is also tipped over by the Royals' keeper.
KICKOFF! With that substitution now made, the second half restarts.
DERBY SUB: A blow for the Rams as Keogh isn't deemed fit to continue after that hefty blow to the head. Ryan Shotton comes on in his place.
Kickoff slightly behind schedule after that injury to Keogh at the end of the second half. The two teams are just coming out of the tunnel.
Watford, despite now being on their fourth manager of the season, are the side set to go top of the pile.
As things stand in the Championship, Derby are climbing up to second place with previous league leaders Norwich City losing at Fulham.
Our instant half-time report is already up on site and you can read it here if you need to catch up on the opening 45.
Here's Martin rising highest to head home the opening goal from a Ward corner:

Just moments before the break Murray almost caught out Grant with a cross-cum-shot, but the Rams keeper just about held it in front of the goal-line.
HALF-TIME: READING 0-2 DERBY
Worrying times for Derby, who have already had to remove Ward because of injury. Captain Keogh is down in the box and is bleeding from the head. He looks a little dazed but might be allowed to recover during half time.
SAVE! Robson-Kanu does really well to meet an inswinging cross from the left, but can only flick it into the belly of Derby keeper Grant.
Obita wildly overhits a corner just moments after three minutes of added time were signalled.
BOOKINGS! Two quick bookings for either side as centre-backs Hector and Whitbread are yellow-carded.
DERBY SUB: It's a real blow for the visitors as Ward trudges off with an injury and is replaced by Johnny Russell. Fair play to McClaren, he could have brought on a more defensive-minded player but he's swapped a forward for a forward. Obviously 2-0 isn't a good enough lead.
Nice interplay between Bryson and Ward, with the latter curling a left-foot effort a yard or so wide from 25 yards.
Lovely, lovely goal from the Liverpool loanee! He lets a pass from Bryson run across his body before flicking it back the other way and bursting into the box. Gunter is the defender but allows him the half a yard he wants to shoot into the far corner. It took a slight deflection off Gunter's sole, but it probably would have gone in anyway.
GOAL! READING 0-2 DERBY (IBE)
Brilliant then bad from Hector as he tackles Bryson superbly before gifting the ball to Hughes. Fortunately for the Reading man, Hughes can't take advantage.
OFF THE BAR! Even closer from Murray as he powerfully meets a corner from the left and flicks it against the crossbar.
SIDE-NETTING! Some of the Reading fans think they've equalised when Murray's header hits the near side-netting. This is much, much better from the home side.
Bryson goes down under the challenge of Norwood right on the edge of the box, but the ref isn't interested and Bryson didn't really appeal either.
CLOSE! Almost an equaliser for the home side as Taylor's shot is palmed out by Grant but straight to Robson-Kanu, who can't react in time to direct the ball home.
After a good start from Reading, it has been all Derby in the last quarter of an hour. The Rams have had more possession (56%) and more shots (three to Reading's two).
It almost is! Forsyth arrives at the back post but he can't get his foot over it.
Dear oh dear! Gunter, who conceded the corner from which Reading scored, has just needlessly headed past his own goalkeeper. Will it be costly again?
That's now seven league goals this season for Martin, who is one behind Forest's Britt Assombalonga on the scoring charts.
He might not have reached Ward's cross a moment ago, but Martin makes no mistake with his next chance, heading home from the resulting corner. He headed it straight at Obita on the post, but it somehow snuck through the left-back's legs.
GOAL! READING 0-1 DERBY (MARTIN)
CHANCE! Ward, who scored for Northern Ireland during the international break, whips over a superb cross from the right that is just too strong for Martin. Reading captain Gunter makes a fine diving-headed clearance.
By the way, keep an eye on our red live scores box to the right if you want to know about all the goals as they go in.
Robson-Kanu with some neat step-overs down the right before his low cross into the middle fails to pick out a blue-and-white teammate. Derby look a little shaky at the back in the early stages.
Derby's first shot at goal comes from Bryson, whose fierce shot from just inside the box whizzes over the top.
CHANCE! It's Cox again who is involved and this time it's a great chance for the Reading frontman but he can only head over Robson-Kanu's cross.
Early penalty shout for the home side as Cox goes down in the box, but nothing is given.
KICKOFF! And we're underway at the Madejski.
Here come the two sides out of the tunnel.

Click here to see the full Championship table ahead of the 10 3pm kickoffs. As you can see, Derby have the chance to go top of the table, especially after Nottingham Forest suffered their first defeat of the season at Cardiff earlier on. Reading can climb as high as ninth with a win.
PREDICTION TIME! As mentioned below, I fancy this one to be an entertaining game and have gone for a 2-2 draw. See what I had to briefly say on the game at the Sports Mole Sofa in the video below:

Saying that, last season's game at the Madejski ended in a 0-0 draw! The last meeting between the two was in Derby and that day the Rams came out on top 2-0.
Derby themselves have plenty of attacking talent so I expect an entertaining game today.
So it's the same backline, but a number of changes further forward. Mackie, Cox and Glenn Murray is a much more attacking frontline so Adkins will want goals today.
Nigel Adkins makes three changes to the Reading starting lineup from their 3-1 defeat at Brentford last time. In come Jamie Mackie, Simon Cox and Jake Taylor for Ryan Edwards, Aaron Kuhl and Nick Blackman.

See below for a video from Derby coach Paul Simpson as he discusses the Rams lineup.

For visitors Derby, it is the same side that disappointingly drew 0-0 at home to Millwall two weeks ago. One bonus for the Rams is the return of Jake Buxton to the bench after a month on the sidelines.
DERBY XI: Grant; Christie, Keogh, Whitbread, Forsyth; Eustace, Bryson, Hughes; Ward, Ibe; Martin
Subs: Roos, Buxton, Hendrick, Russell, Best, Shotton, Mascarell
READING XI: Federici; Gunter, Pearce, Hector, Obita; Norwood, Taylor, Robson-Kanu; Mackie, Cox, Murray
Subs: Andersen, Long, Cooper, Kuhl, Akpan, Blackman, Pogrebnyak
Afternoon all! Our feature 3pm kickoff in the Championship this week takes place in Berkshire as Reading welcome Derby County to the Madejski Stadium. Team news coming right up...
