Reading manager Steve Clarke claims that today's win over Wolverhampton Wanderers shows how much they have improved since he took over in December.
Goals from Pavel Pogrebnyak and Danny Williams gave the Royals a vital victory and one that Clarke is keen to build on in Tuesday's clash with Leeds United.
He told the club's official website: "I think slowly we've been improving over a number of games, and this result shows how far we've come. Now we have to make sure we don't get carried away, and we build on it.
"I felt this afternoon was going to be pivotal in our season, I wanted the players to show their improvement, which is exactly what they've done."
Reading have lost just twice in 10 games since Clarke took over from Nigel Adkins.
