Orlando Sa vows to learn lessons from Fulham debacle

Orlando Sa concedes that Reading "must improve" against Brighton & Hove Albion after a second-half collapse cost them a share of the spoils against Fulham last weekend.

Reading striker Orlando Sa has admitted that his side "need to learn" from their second-half horror show against Fulham last time out.

The Royals were seemingly cruising to a fifth win in six outings, only to let slip a two-goal lead after the break to eventually lose 4-2 at Craven Cottage.

It was a big blow to Reading's playoff hopes, but Sa is confident that his teammates will react with a far more positive display when taking on league leaders Brighton at the weekend.

"We need to learn from the second half for the future," he is quoted as saying by The Reading Chronicle. "A lot of games in this league will be like that - at 2-0 we will have to focus on defending better and holding together.

"It was a shock because we were winning 2-0 and creating chances, but nobody was expecting Fulham to score three goals in five or six minutes. This can't happen at 2-0 and we must improve for the next game.

"In my opinion, we want the next game to come early to prove to our fans that the second half was not realistic. We can do much better against Brighton - we need to improve our game, play like a team and defend and attack together."

Reading now find themselves two points off a playoff spot in the Championship after picking up just one point from their last two games.
