Reading skipper Jobi McAnuff feels that it is essential he and his teammates end their poor run of form against their relegation rivals if they are to survive this season.
The Royals haven't beaten a team in the bottom five of the Premier League this campaign and they will look to end that when they face Aston Villa on Saturday.
"It's something we're aware of and something that we're trying to put right," he told Sky Sports News. "Obviously we've got a chance to do that on Saturday.
We've got a lot of experience in there, boys that have been around the place and know what's required. I'm sure, come Saturday, we'll all know what to do and be able to get the result."
Reading are currently 19th in the Premier League, one point adrift of safety.
