Reading boss Nigel Adkins has revealed that he is hopeful of adding to his squad before the transfer window slams shut at the beginning of next month.
The Royals have already acquired the likes of Royston Drenthe, Danny Williams and Wayne Bridge, but the former Southampton manager has claimed that he is still active.
"There's going to be lots of speculation, every manager wants to strengthen their group," he told Sky Sports News.
"There's two and a bit weeks until the window, we scored three and if we hadn't scored three people would be asking more questions about strikers. We're working hard behind the scenes."
Reading currently sit eighth in the Championship table.
