Alvaro Medran's double was enough for Real Madrid Castilla to beat Sabadell and climb out of the Segunda Division relegation zone this evening.
After a goalless first half, Medran struck two goals in four second-half minutes to win the game for Madrid against playoff-chasing Sabadell.
The visitors did score a late goal through Fernando Llorente Manas, but it didn't spark a late fightback.
The victory is just Madrid's second in 11 games, while Sabadell lose their first league game in six.
With just one more week left of the season, Castilla go into next Saturday's final day one point clear of the bottom four. Sabadell are still ninth, two points shy of Cordoba in the last playoff place.
