Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has reportedly emerged as a doubt for the Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.
The Belgium international suffered with cramp and muscle fatigue while representing his country over the recent international break.
According to Marca, Hazard was not involved in Real Madrid's group training session on Friday, instead working separately, as Los Blancos keep a close eye on his muscular issues.
As a result, the report claims that the experienced attacker is unlikely to be involved against Shakhtar, with Carlo Ancelotti's side keen to save him for El Clasico against Barcelona next weekend.
The 30-year-old, who has suffered with a number of injury problems during his time at the Bernabeu, has failed to score in eight appearances at club level during the 2021-22 campaign.
Since arriving in Madrid, the Belgian has scored five goals and registered nine assists in 51 appearances.
