Eden Hazard is reportedly facing a battle to be ready for Real Madrid's Champions League last-16 first leg against Manchester City at the Bernabeu on February 26.
The Belgium international joined Madrid in a big-money deal from Chelsea over the summer but has largely struggled with injury since arriving in the Spanish capital.
Indeed, Hazard has been restricted to just 13 appearances in all competitions and has been on the sidelines since the end of November due to a fractured ankle.
The attacker has returned to training in recent weeks but was again left out of the squad against Osasuna on Sunday afternoon despite being tipped to feature.
Zinedine Zidane's side now only have two more La Liga matches before the clash with City on February 26, and according to Marca, the 29-year-old is not certain to be involved in the European tie.
Hazard, who has eight goals in 49 Champions League appearances for Chelsea, Lille and Madrid, has contributed one goal and four assists in all competitions for the 13-time European champions.
