Javier Hernandez has insisted that he respects the decisions made by Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti in relation to team selection.
The Mexican was dropped from the starting XI for Real Madrid's trip to Juventus in the semi-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday – a game that the Spanish side lost 2-1.
On-loan Manchester United forward Hernandez has refused to grumble, but has admitted that it is never nice to be sitting on the bench.
"I've always said that you have to respect every decision [made by the coach], but no player likes sitting on the bench," Hernandez told reporters.
Hernandez, who has been among the goals for Real Madrid in recent weeks, came on in the second period of the first leg in Turin.
