Javier Hernandez has insisted that Real Madrid are still confident of progressing into the final of the Champions League despite a setback in the first leg of their semi-final at Juventus.
Goals from Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez secured a 2-1 win for Juve, but Cristiano Ronaldo's effort just before the half-hour mark has left the tie delicately poised.
"The feeling is negative because we lost the game. We fought until the end but still left with a one-goal deficit," Hernandez told reporters.
"We have to remain calm and use this [defeat] as a learning curve because there's no small teams left in this competition. The coach asked us to show character and did what we'd done in the league. [Juve] had a great game and now we have to try to win the return match."
The second leg in Madrid will take place next Wednesday.
