Midfielder Marco Asensio has warned that Real Madrid must be prepared for Bayern Munich's response in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.
On Wednesday night, Real overturned an early deficit to register a 2-1 victory at the Allianz Arena, a result which leaves Zinedine Zidane's team in control of the tie.
However, Asensio - who netted Real's winning goal - has acknowledged that the Spanish giants need to produce a 'strong' performance in the reverse fixture, which takes place next Tuesday.
After the game, the 22-year-old told reporters: "We had to fight for that result, we went behind and now what we have to be stronger in the Bernabeu.
"I'm happy with the game, we knew we were going to suffer but we managed to leave with a small advantage and that is very important.
"We knew that Bayern were very strong, that for phases of the game they were going to dominate. "We knew how to suffer and how to take advantage of that to score."
Asensio's goal in Germany was his first in the Champions League this season.
