Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has claimed that Bayern Munich are "serious contenders" to win this season's Champions League.
The two sides could meet in the semi-finals of the competition following Friday's draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
Bayern will take on Marseille in the quarter-finals, while Madrid have been pitted against APOEL.
"Bayern can beat any team in the tournament," Mourinho is quoted as saying by Bild. "I would consider them serious contenders."
