Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has said that his team will take the shine off Barcelona's double-winning season if they manage to win the Champions League on Saturday night.
Barcelona reclaimed the La Liga title from Madrid during the 2017-18 campaign, while the Catalan giants also beat Sevilla to win the Copa del Rey.
Los Blancos will have the chance to win a third straight Champions League title when they face Liverpool in Kiev, however, and Ramos has said that victory "would eclipse a little bit Barcelona's double".
"If Madrid wins the Champions League, it would eclipse a little bit Barcelona's double," Ramos told Cadena Cope. "They are worthy of their two titles but if your direct rival wins the Champions League, the dynamic of the situation changes."
Real Madrid finished the 2017-18 La Liga season 17 points behind the champions Barcelona.
