Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos believes that he is currently playing the best football of his career.
The 28-year-old was part of a Madrid defence that secured an incredible run of clean sheets towards the start of the year.
Meanwhile, the centre-back hit the goal trail for Los Blancos in the latter stages of the campaign, with a brace against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League and a last-minute equaliser in the final against Atletico Madrid in Lisbon.
The experienced Spaniard, who will travel to the World Cup this summer, has also revealed that he "would love to win the Ballon d'Or".
"I'm at my best," the Spain international told reporters after being presented with the City of Seville Medal.
"I've had a great year, both on a personal and professional front. Let's hope it continues for the World Cup in Brazil. The whole Spain national squad have to give it every last drop of sweat.
"I would love to win the Ballon d'Or but, honestly, I'm not even thinking about it. In the end, individual titles are achieved with the help of all your teammates."
Ramos also helped Madrid win the Copa del Rey last term.
