Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that only a focused and improved performance will be enough to beat Juventus in tomorrow night's showpiece Champions League clash.
Carlo Ancelotti's side have taken maximum points from their first two Group B matches, scoring 10 goals in two wins over Galatasaray and Copenhagen.
Juve lost their first game of the season in a shock 4-2 defeat at Fiorentina at the weekend, but Ronaldo believes that with Carlos Tevez in form, Juve are still a side that command respect.
He told reporters at a pre-match press conference: "We are expecting a great Juventus team, even though they lost their last match in Serie A.
"The Juventus encounter is a huge one and we want to win this one. We must be focused. I played with Tevez and it was great linking up with him. We will have to be wary of him tomorrow, he is a very dangerous player.
"The Champions League is the most important tournament, but whatever competition I compete in I want to win it. We want nine points on the board by the end of tomorrow night."
Ronaldo scored his 16th goal of the season for club and country, netting a late penalty in Madrid's 2-0 victory over Malaga.
