Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz has played down comparisons with Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pair are likely to be on opposite ends of the field when the Turkish side travel to the Spanish champions in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday.
The Turkish international has been likened by some to the Portuguese forward this season after netting eight goals in Europe, but Yilmaz has denied that he is similar to the former Manchester United man.
"A lot of people are comparing me to Ronaldo. However, neither my teammates nor myself are making such a comparison," Yilmaz told reporters.
"He is a huge star. It would be cocky to compare myself to him. He is one of the best players in the world.
"I am already proud to be competing with him. I'm very excited to lock horns with him."
The return leg will be played at the Turk Telekom Arena on March 9.
