Isco's Real Madrid future is in further doubt as the Spanish attacker has been left out of their squad for Wednesday's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Barcelona.
The 26-year-old has been carrying a niggling back injury but made himself available for selection ahead of the first of two El Clasico matches this week.
However, Isco was not included on Santiago Solari's initial list of players for the match at the Bernabeu, meaning that he will once again have to watch on from the stands.
Isco has found starts hard to come by since Solari was appointed at the in November and, taking all competitions into account, he has been used just 13 times over the past four months.
Mariano Diaz, Brahim Diaz and Jesus Vallejo have also been omitted from Madrid's 19-man list, which will be reduced to 18 players on Wednesday.
The sides are locked at 1-1 from the first leg at Camp Nou earlier this month.
