Real Madrid can move into third place with victory over Sevilla at the Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon.
Los Blancos have endured a poor season and have struggled for form since resuming their campaign earlier this month, drawing one, losing one and winning one of their three league matches in 2019.
Next up for Santiago Solari's men is an out-of-form Sevilla, with victory a must if they are to keep alive their slim title hopes.
Here, Sports Mole looks at how Madrid could line up this weekend.
Out: Marcos Llorente, Toni Kroos, Thibaut Courtois, Mariano Diaz, Jesus Vallejo
Doubtful: Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio
Solari handed Isco a rare start in midweek for Madrid's 1-0 loss to Leganes in the Copa del Rey - an audition the out-of-favour Spaniard failed to pass with his display, so the frontline should have more of a familiar look to it on Saturday.
Keylor Navas was used in goal at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque and will retain his place against Sevilla due to a hip injury sustained by Courtois a couple of weeks ago.
There is not expected to be a place in the side for Marcelo at left-back, however, with Sergio Reguilon being preferred in that position in recent games.
Elsewhere, Benzema is carrying an injury but Solari will do all that he can to get the Frenchman fit, with Bale also on the sidelines.
