Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Odriozola has been diagnosed with a grade one abductor injury that will see him miss this week's UEFA Super Cup.
The 22-year-old was hoping to make his competitive bow for Los Blancos in Wednesday evening's clash against city rivals Atletico Madrid.
Odriozola, a £35m signing from Real Sociedad last month, will have to wait a little longer due to a groin problem that is being closely monitored.
Madrid confirmed the news on their official website on Monday afternoon ahead of announcing their squad.
Atletico have already named their travelling party for the clash in Estonia, meanwhile, with new recruits Nikola Kalinic, Gelson Martins, Thomas Lemar and Santiago Arias in line to make their debuts.
